Everyone seems to love taking his or her dog to the beach, so it seems only right for this to take first place and for us to share with you Sandymouth beach in Cornwall. Its location makes it one of the warmest locations in the UK and makes it a truly worthwhile drive if you want to be able to take your dog on a spectacular beach holiday.
Sea View International holiday Park in Cornwall is an amazing place to be able to take your four legged companion in the summer months. You are allowed two dogs per pitch and the site has a dog exercise and play area and it situation a moments walk from the beachfront. Remember to pre-book with your motorhomes, as it can get busy during the summer months.
When it comes to taking the dog on a little motorhome holiday, there is always fun to be had around lakes and rivers. Most dogs look a good swim and to get wet to having the dogs explore Loch Morlich in Glenmore should be a barrel of laughs. The calm waters make it completely save for the four legged family members and in turn make it even more fun knowing that your dogs completely safe to have a paddle. There is also the added benefit of it not getting too deep until you get very far into the lake, so you can always lose the shoes and socks and simply go for a stroll in the shallower waters.
The amply named Glenmore campsite is home to an array of motorhome friendly pitches and welcomes dogs to its grounds. It’s a short drive from Aviemore meaning you can nip to stock up on supplies during longer stays and it’s also right on the beach of the lake making it perfect for accessing the lake with ease. Furthermore, it is surrounded by forestland making it an all round amazing place no matter what your dog loves.
Snowdonia mountain range in North Wales has long been renowned for having some of the most breathtaking views of the rolling Welsh mountains in the country and the beautiful Irish Sea. If you want to be able to truly be astounded by natural beauty and take your dog along for the journey then there are few other places better suited for you.
If you are considering the Snowdonia Mountain Range then one of the most popular local campsites would be the Cae Du Campsite, this is a campsite situated in a small valley, which offers a quiet and secluded setting within the Snowdonia Range. Although in a secluded area, it can become very full during the summer months so if you want to maintain that tranquil feel we would advise going in the off-season when there is plenty of free pitches to choose from.
North York Moore’s have a forested location nested within called Dalby forest; this is a perfect location for you to let your pets run wild in an endless abyss of trees and wildlife. It offers an easy to reach location and it is with a short drive from the coast meaning that coastal daytrips are simple and easy.
Pexton Moor Farm is located right on the edge of the forest and gives you an amazing foothold to be able to explore the forest in full with your furry dog before returning back in the evenings to relax. The site even has an 11pm silence rule meaning that you can relax properly in the evenings and get some much needed rest after exploring the forest to its fullest during the day.
