The UK Spring Motorhome & Caravan Show
A must for motorhome enthusiasts. The Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire plays host to the UK Spring Motorhome and Caravan Show on the 17 and 18th of March 2018.
If like us, you love the motorhome experience, then this is a fabulous event. You’ll be able to check out the latest motorhomes, innovations and exhibitors from all over the industry. There will be places to pitch (limited availability of electric hookups though), things to see and even evening entertainment.
Harrogate Spring Flower Show
For the budding horticulturalists, the Harrogate Spring Flower show opens its doors from the 26th to the 29th of April. A celebration of anything with leaves and a stem, it’s a festival that’ll definitely grow on you. With floral art, show gardens, plenty to see, to do and to experience, it’s the perfect opportunity to give your green fingers some inspiration this Spring.
The Liverpool Food & Drink Festival
On the 28th & 29th of April, Sefton Park in Liverpool once again plays host to the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival. For the curious epicurean, this event promises to be a cornucopia of crafty catering. With all kinds of food on offer along with workshops on how to improve your cookery skills. Added to this, there’ll be the usual delights you’d expect from events of this type. There’ll certainly be something for anyone who enjoys their food!
The North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival
Most of what you need to know is already incorporated into the name. For around 10 days around Mayday each year, hiking enthusiasts decent upon North Devon and Exmoor and participate in a variety of guided walks suitable for all ages and abilities. With forests, coastlines, hills and valleys, why not check take a trip to the West Country and enjoy the scenery with a friendly group of like-minded wanderers?
Downton Cuckoo Fair
Any resemblance with the famous fictional abbey is entirely coincidental, but the Cuckoo Fair in the picturesque Village of Downton Wiltshire on the 5th of May is one of the innumerable historic local festivals you’ll find the length and breadth of the Country. The Cuckoo fair will be packed with tradition, rural crafts, entertainment, dancing and charm in equal measure. With proceeds going to local charities, it’s a worthy event and is sure to be well deserving of a visit.
Cheer on the Tour De Yorkshire
One of the newest and most successful events on the international cycling calendar, The Tour De Yorkshire is expected to double in size for 2018. This event will be held over 4 days from the 3rd to the 6th of May. With well over 2 million spectators in 2017, this is sure to be a must-attend event for anyone with an interest in cycling.
Experience The Bath Festival
2018 is a special year for the annual Bath Festival. Marking the 70th anniversary of this event, The Bath Festival will be a 17 day long literary and musical extravaganza incorporating over 160 events. There’ll be something for everyone to enjoy, with innumerable different art-forms represented. Performances and exhibitions will be led by locals and by artists from all over the world. Incorporated into the festival is ‘Party in the City’ which is a single night of free music, expected to attract over 2,000 performers across the city and an audience of 20,000. Expect the atmosphere to be electric!
