Sand Le Mere, Holiday Park, Yorkshire

Only a short journey from our Lancashire office, pop over the border to Yorkshire, to the fun and fantastic Sand Le Mere camp site and holiday resort this Easter.

Forget the war of the roses, many of our Lancashire customers love to holiday in Yorkshire, and why not when you can experience the wild countryside and the dales, the beaches of Bridlington and Scarborough and holiday parks like Sand Le Mere.

Sand le Mere is on the East coast of Yorkshire next to Tunstall beach, for Easter breaks this camp site is a winner as it caters for the UK’s unpredictable weather, so rain or shine there are plenty of activities to do.

If you are planning a family break this Easter then Sand Le Mere have a great Kids club and Swimming Pool situated in their brand new leisure complex. If the weather allows you are only a short trip to the beach, you can enjoy fishing nearby as well as sea fishing and take your bikes for rides around the complex and further afield in Yorkshire.

Park Cliffe Camping and Caravanning Resort, Lake District, Cumbria

One of our favourite camp sites (although there are many) is the Park Cliffe resort. The Park Cliffe resort is situated near Bowness, on Windermere Lake.

Windermere is one of the most famous and beautiful lakes in the area, with boat trips and bike rides around the surrounding forests and towns. Cumbria and the Lake District have many sights to visit and Windermere is a great base. Park Cliffe Camping estate boasts some of the most fantastic views and has plenty of facilities on site, including restaurant and children’s play area.

Ideal for animal lovers and bird watchers, the peaceful estate, is a sanctuary for wildlife, even when the site is busy during peak season you can spot a badger and many birds such as swallows, house martins and the odd buzzard. This award winning estate is a great place for a north west motor home getaway.

Delamere Forest – Cheshire

Delamer Forest camping cheshireA stones throw away from our Cheshire Office, you can visit the famous Delamere Forest, the Caravanning Club recommend this camp site for families as it has excellent facilities and is a great place to visit in Cheshire. Cheshire boasts many forests, stately homes, lakes and places to visit. No matter how old your family is there is something fun that will suit all ages from the youngest toddler to the oldest granny and granddad.

You can enjoy picnics, bike rides, wildlife watching on site, or take your motor home or car further afield to the local pub, restaurants or farms close by.

Cheshire, especially Delamere forest is very easy to get to and you can hire your motor home from our Cheshire office for an even easier journey.
