What equipment and supplies are provided in a Priory Motorhome?

What supplies come with a Priory Motorhome?

When you rent a luxury motorhome from Priory Rentals, you get far more than you’d expect. We provide all the essentials and then some to get you started, so you don’t, for example, need to transfer the contents of your home kitchen over to make sure you can prepare meals.

You’ll need to provide your own bedding, clothes and food, but you’ll find that our motorhomes come well enough equipped to allow you to move in and set off.

What equipment comes as standard?

 Kitchen Equipment

  • Cutlery
  • Glasses
  • Dinner plates
  • Bowls
  • Cups
  • Small plates
  • Cutting knife set
  • Scissors
  • Potato peeler
  • Frying spatula
  • Corkscrew
  • Can opener
  • Cheese Grater
  • Chopping board
  • Saucepans, large, medium and small
  • Frying pan
  • Kettle

Of course, you’re free to bring your favourite utensils from home, but we hope we’ve covered the basics so you don’t need to bring much else, if anything else along.

Cleaning

  • Dustpan and brush
  • Toilet chemicals

As with the kitchen inventory, these basics are sufficient for most. Your motorhome will have been meticulously cleaned before handover, but if you’re hiring for longer than a few days or travelling somewhere especially muddy or dusty, feel free to bring along some extra supplies.

Cooking/Heating Fuel

  • Gas bottles x 2 (1 x full)

We provide at last one full gas tank to make sure you can cook away to your heart’s desire and stay warm when the temperature outside drops. While for many, these gas tanks will last for the duration of your motorhome holiday, if you do lots of cooking, have the heating on a lot or are on a particularly long excursion, these gas bottles are refillable. Many petrol stations offer gas tank refills, so look out for gas refill signs should you be running low.

Safety & Emergency Supplies

  • Safety essentials
  • Level blocks
  • First aid kit
  • Warning triangle
  • Bulb and fuse kit
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Fire blanket

Priory motorhomes come equipped with many of the safety and emergency supplies we hope you’ll never need to use, but it’s reassuring to have on board anyway. Please bear in mind that if you’re travelling to Europe, you may well need additional equipment to comply with each country’s specific motoring laws. Get in touch with us if you’re unsure what’s required and we’ll be happy to advise.
