You can register your interest online……..and we will contact you, or you can phone our office for further information and to check availability. Upon booking you will need to pay a non-refundable booking deposit of £250.00 or full payment if it’s a late booking. The full balance will need to be paid no later than 6 weeks before collection. As insurance security you will be asked to leave a refundable security deposit of £750 to £3000 upon collection. This acts as an insurance excess during your hire, and will be refunded provided that the vehicle is returned clean and undamaged as described in our terms and conditions. In the event of an insurance claim the cost of the damage or claim will be deducted from your deposit.

The minimum rental period is 3 nights (weekend hire). In low season please call the office for late deals.

Depending on the length of hire these are options:

  • Weekly vehicle hire (or multiple weeks) collection days any bar Sunday. Vehicles are available for collection from 3pm and must be returned for 11am.
  • 4 night short breaks (may not be available July & August) collection days any bar Sunday. Vehicles are available for collection from 3pm and must be returned for 11am.
  • 3 night short breaks (may not be available July & August) collection days any bar Sunday. Vehicles are available for collection from 3pm and must be returned for 11am.

Please call our office if you wish to view a vehicle as it might be out on hire. Viewings must take place at our Lancashire branch unless the motorhome is available at Northwich, however we cannot transport to Northwich especially for a viewing.  We have 2 locations to collect our motorhomes for your convenience:

Anyone between the ages of 25-75 with 2 years driving experience and a clean licence (6 minor points)

For our Swift Kontiki, Auto Trail Scout, Roller Team Pegaso 740, or our Roller Team 707 you must have a category C1 on your licence.

If you have more convictions please contact us with your endorsements and we’ll certainly try to assist in your motorhome hire.

Your full driving licence – After 8th June 2015 the paper counterpart will become obsolete.  As we will require confirmation of your endorsements or lack of we will need to access your online DVLA record.  This can be done with the use of your National Insurance number via this link: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence Once you have logged in, please select the “Share your licence information” option and select “Create a code”.  This code is valid for 21 days and must be brought with you on the day of collection or alternatively you can email this through to us beforehand.

Two proofs of address – These can be utility bills, bank statements or credit card bills, however they do need to be dated within the last 3 months.

Your full driving licence issued by your country of residence.

2 proofs of home address in your country of residence (matching licence)

Your international driving licence if your driving licence is written in a different language to the one of the renting country.

Your passport

A copy of your UK travel details, flight/campsite reservation confirmation.

All our motor homes have easy to use booklet guides which cover all equipment from oven to heating to TV’s for our customers ease. You will be given a comprehensive demonstration upon collection. If you need further assistance please call our freephone number or if it’s a minor problem please use our text facility for a swift response after 9pm.

All our motorhomes are designed for all year round use. They all have high levels of floor, wall and roof insulation, onboard water tanks to avoid freezing and blown-air/electrical central heating. All have facilities for storing ski’s or snowboards and we even provide insulating cab covers

We provide a range of crockery, cutlery and utensils for you to use along with a range of safety equipment. You will need to provide your own bedding such as pillows and sleeping bags, towels, although these can be provided at an additional cost.

Make sure you have taken out travel insurance to cover you in the event that you lose or damage any of your personal possessions as we cannot be held responsible for any personal items.

Please be considerate when parking the motorhome and remember that parking overnight at the side of the road is not permitted in the UK.

It’s best to book campsites in advance, particularly in high season to avoid disappointment. See the “Links” on our website to help you find the right campsite for you. We provide a Privilege Scheme Card for the Camping and Caravanning Club free with every hire, which gives you member rates at over 120 award winning UK and Northern Ireland campsites.

Where possible, hard standing pitches are the most desirable as they make parking easy. Check the facilities available with the campsite, and whether there is mains power. Also remember to ask what facilities are close to your pitch, such as a children’s play area.

Of course you can take our motor home to Europe/Ireland, although prior notice must be authorised before your date of travel. An additional £95/week or hire is charged to cover green cards and additional insurance costs.

We offer secure parking at our Lancashire branch which boasts numerous CCTV cameras, high security fencing and immediate police response.

Unfortunately we’re currently not able to offer secure parking at our Cheshire branch.

Keep calm – accidents happen, call our offices and advise what damage has occurred we might be able to rectify it over the phone or if out of hours, text for minor damage or call our 24hr line where you will be given further instructions.

Unfortunately this service is not currently available as there must be a Priory Motorhomes representative present at the hand over of the motorhome to process the check in.  Motorhomes returned outside of normal opening hours are left at the hirers own risk, and will be subject to the same terms and conditions in respect of damage and/or parking charges until a Priory Motorhomes representative has taken full possession and checked the vehicle in.
